  dealing with shunning

  i had a nonreligious email that was just cute and funny and sent it to everyone i considered a friend.

  some were witnesses.

  one gal, sara, sent me a letter of reply.

  dont know whether you know this or not kiddo, but I'll say it anyway..
  done a lot of research over the past X years into churches that hold to a "truth" and shunning is a format in many of them. Adventists, sci fi cults, all the same. Its ties to the control of information, the channel of truth not wanting any access into the members minds by any other info source, especially dangerous ones that know too much.
  THe extreme of information flow control is putting your people in a compound with no external access. Course when you have a church with 5 million members across the planet thats a little hard unless you got a BIG compound.
  There are tens of millions other people, some witnesses, some in Larouche,Mormonism and the Elonias foundation all goin thru what your expoeriencing, or a slight variation of same.Its THEM that have to be stopped, not YOU.

  my mother died from refusing a blood transfussion, it took her 3 weeks to die and her body fought hard to live.

  by the end she had gangrene in both feet and hands, the doctors said, if she survived they would have to be amputated.

  im there thinking, "okay, shes footless, handless, but still mummy dearest".kidney failure, heart failure followed, with the doctors fighting like all hell trying to keep her alive.

  not that Im blubbing teary eyed about it, it was just like a final revelation, as though God put her through that to prove the erroneousness of the Witness position to me. Or somethin.delusions that God is sendin me signals

  Preparing for Armageddon!

  what was the silliest thing you ever did to prepare for armageddon?.

  way back when in my pioneering days, when we were out in service we would often talk about what to do when the great tribulation came along.

  one of my pioneering buddies told me that he was so sure the gt was around the corner that he went and buried some food for the bros and sis to eat when we fled to the hills.

  had 4 other young bros all armed to the teeth and training down at the local oval everynight. we used to prepare for and practise the violence needed to survive the big A by going around torching schools and blowing up cars....happy days

  invited two cute little mormon missionaries in for a cool drink,it was hot, i felt sorry for them, they wouldnt come in, terrified Id try to molest the both of them.heard this is now doctrine, not allowed in with members of the opposite sex, even in pairs, after a bunch old ladies drugged two nice mormon boys and used em as SEX SLAVES for about two weeks!!.

  I think I 'm confused?

  i have been disassociated for almost ten years and would not step foot into a kingdom hall if you paid me.

  i have been lurking around the board for the past month or so making posts hear and there but i am confused.

  it sounds like there is a great deal of you who frequent the board still attend the kingdom hall.

  Why would a God want worship anyway?

  the need to be worshiped is a human failing rather than divine.. when you look into history, you find that it as been the tyrants, that have required worship/devotion, from its people.

  look into the bible, you find a battle over worship.

  there is satan who supposedly wanted just one act of worship from jesus, and he would give kingdoms away.. then there is god, who reportedly required the sacrifice of thousands of animals on a weekly basis as part of his worship.

  Somebody tell me where in the Bible it says a creative day is 7000years, I cant find it. Also, At the fall God said Adam would die in that day . he didnt( unless you believe a day is a thousand years).
  What did Satan say? 'You shall be like God knowing good and evil"
  God confirms this himself saying the "man has become like us knowing good and evil"
  Did God fib?. The serpent truthed?
  Possible? or am I mislead by wicked reasoning?
  Also, how can there be light on day two if the sun wasnt created till day 4?
  chew on those ones....

  used to have a woman at our meetings who used to be carried in on a stretcher set up the back like a relic and she had her three kids
  ministering to her with fans and foot massage. She was so holy she was constantly "afflicted" by Satanic illness.
  One of her kids committed suicide..actually.
  poor bastard.
